BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy in trouble for filming reel at temple in Telangana

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Padi Kaushik Reddy found himself in trouble for filming a reel at the Yadadri Temple in Telangana with his wife and daughter.
Madhura Neni Subhash Chander, the Vishva Hindu Parishad’s Dharma Prasaar State Co-Convener, has filed a complaint regarding Reddy’s video reels with the police in Telangana’s Sangareddy district. Chander accused Reddy of disrespecting a revered temple and called for immediate action against both the MLA and the temple’s management.
The complaint stated that the reels shared on social media were offensive to the religious sentiments of devotees and the public.
The VHP and Bajrang Dal have demanded an immediate apology from Reddy to the Hindu community. Chander warned that if the MLA fails to apologize, the groups will escalate their protests. They also called for measures to protect the temple’s sanctity and prevent any further actions that could tarnish its reputation.
The controversy arose after Huzurabad MLA posted reels featuring himself, his wife, and daughter at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, which these groups found inappropriate.
